What are you doing this Summer???
We have some fun stuff coming up this summer! Camping trip, Beach trip, Adventure Park, A Retreat near the end of June, and of course our game nights! Contact Chad if you want more info!
Our 2nd annual Survivor night is coming soon! This year we are using the gym next door so we can play games like dodge ball, floor hockey, and so much more. Then of course there is the intense games that we play on our own campus. Tons of food too! Bring a friend!
When is it? February 15th, 6:00pm to 1:00am! The coast is free so there really is no excuse to not come. See ya there!
The whole replacement ref ordeal in the NFL has been quite the spectacle. Many non-football fans have become interested to all the commotion. The problem is that these guys are not real NFL referees. Yes they look like them and try to talk like them, but when the going gets tough in the hard and fast paced National Football League their true colors show. These are people who are really high school refs or college refs or maybe they are footlocker employes, whoever they are we know that they are not real NFL refs.
Real Faith Student Ministries exists to connecting real people to a real God. Like replacement refs there are a lot of things that are fake, but the most tragic thing you can fake is your relationship with Jesus Christ. Our goal is to provide opportunities for students to dig in and discover truth. To ask questions and discuss challenging topics. Its a Spiritual adventure that can be fun and rewarding.
The youth room extreme makeover project is going along very well and our kickoff night is scheduled for October 17th! We still meet on Sundays and Wednesdays now, but it will be exciting when the youth room is finished. Many events are coming up that you don’t want to miss. Those events are on the calender so check them out!
We are looking forward to a great year for youth ministry!
…and hopefully a good season of football. ; )
Free Concert, Extreme Games, and All the Ice Cream you can Eat!!! Our guest musician is Michael Fugitt.
When? August 4th 6:30-9:30pm
Where? Faith Baptist Church of Visalia
How much does it cost? It’s free!
Why? Enough with the questions. Come join us and have fun! : )
Wow, summer is here and there are many opportunities to get plugged in! Three goals for this summer is that we will Grow, Serve, Connect and have fun doing it.
Grow: We will continue to meet on Wednesdays and Sundays (except in July when we have Famole). In July we are planning on a backpacking trip for the guys and the girls will do something together too. The upper room bible study will return for all those who want to go deeper into the Word and challenge one another to be spiritual leaders in their church and community!
Serve: When space is available we will serve at the rescue mission through out the summer. Times and dates for that will be released on a weekly basis. We will be helping out with the VBS at a church in Fresno. We plan on doing some outreach in the community as well (specifics are coming soon).
Connect: In order to have “Real Fusion” we need to spend time together. There will of course be those spontaneous opportunities, but a few planned things as well. Swim nights, game nights, Six flags trip, backpacking, and of course the annual Famole event throughout July! What is Famole you ask? I will add a link to this so you can read up on it. In a nutshell, its tons of fun and you will want to be there. : )
Looking forward to a great Summer!

Our Student ministry has two fun events this weekend! On Friday is yet another “Game Night“. This night usually involves extreme outdoor games that at times can be quite epic. An yes, we will once again bust out the glow sticks for games like “capture the flag” and “monster”. This is a great opportunity to bring friends!
Then on Sunday night we have “SNAC“. It is more of a calm evening with indoor games and snacks. This is another great time to invite others to join us. I am hoping to meet some new people this weekend! So get your homework done and come join us! – Chad
Indiana Jones* is known for his adventures. He was very courageous in his endeavors to complete whatever mission he was on. I love the step of faith scene where he steps off a cliff believing somehow he will make it to the other side of the canyon.
I was thinking about Indy when I was reading about some of our persecuted missionaries around the world. These people have boldly smuggled Bibles, held underground churches, and even trained pastors knowing that they are putting their lives on the line. These people are not doing this to earn heaven, rather they are sharing the love and hope of Jesus Christ that they have already experienced.
Many are currently in jail, and thanks to websites like http://www.persecution.com/, we can read about them, pray for them, and even write letters to them! So some of these people have similar adventures like Indiana Jones*. Instead of saying “This belongs in a museum.” They may say something like “This Bible belongs in the hand of every person that desires one.”
So what? We can’t all be like Indiana Jones* right? Well, actually we can. Here are two ways we can get started.
1. Get involved. Use the persecution.com website or find an other way to connect (current church missionaries?), learn about, and pray for those who are in the persecuted church.
2. Think about your own life. If you are a follower of Jesus Christ, what kind of adventures for the Gospel have you been a part of?
Every adventure begins with one step. Are you ready to take that step?

We had a great turnout! It was a great time of building relationships. It was also cool to have Michelle’s testimony shared via video. I believe her testimony touched the hearts of many students that night. Very thankful for the adult workers that helped out. It was a successful team effort. Looking forward to doing something like this again!
